Hi,
I want to ask if there are plans to improve the current documentation of the SimpleEdit IDE.
The "documentation" seems more like some teasers to me.

I'm going to test the IDE out and hoped that there are maybe more detailed help documents avaiable?!

Maybe you need help in documenting? Do you have plans how the documentation of SimpleEdit may look like?

the question is: What kind of documentation is needed and what could we document?
I believe the kind of "documentation" that we have, is fine - learning to use an IDEs features by watching videos certainly is the most productive way.
The current flash videos do not solve that purpose well because they really were meant as "technical previews". They talk about to much and do not go deep enough.

I certainly could use some help with this. If you'd like to volunteer...

I agree!

I really are interested in helping, but to do that in an acceptable way I have to use the IDE for some time. If you have ideas how to structure those videos or maybe texts, please inform me/us so we can help you with that.

I think that this is a very important thing and a part of your project that certainly underachieves.

I'll contact you in this thread, when I have done first steps with the IDE.
